Road trip Morocco Atlas
Itinerary
Itinerant route from Agadir, Morocco
Arrival free in Marrakech. Meeting point after 04 pm in hotel.
An intense and truly scenic stage. After picking up our rental bikes, we'll immerse ourselves in the typical mountain landscape. The High Atlas boasts high-altitude passages and incredible winding roads, villages, and breathtaking views of the valleys. There will also be some interesting facts about the route and a bit of off-roading, just to spice things up.
In the evening, we'll stay in a Riad right on the Ozoud Falls (the highest in North Africa, with a drop of 110 meters).
Riad Le Cascade de Ouzoud
Sleeping in a Riad is a wonderful experience. The Berber hospitality is warm, kind, and elegant. Entering a Riad is like entering their home.
Our journey continues through the Atlas Mountains. We'll pass Lake Azilal, where we can visit a unique mountain called "La Catedral," and continue through Wadi Mellui, a particularly challenging but doable stretch. We can simply give it a try or retrace our steps and continue along the main road.
A night in a Riad in a typical shepherd's village.
Imilchil is a shepherd's village where you can also sleep. It will be interesting to visit a home and experience the rhythm of pastoral life.
Certainly the central and most beautiful part of the entire journey. Plage Blanche: 40 kilometres along the beach. Fishing scenes and wild nature. Accommodation in a riad or aubeIn addition to the wonderful trails and roads that descend from the High Atlas to the south, we will visit the Todra Gorges. The road that runs along the bottom of the canyon formed by the Todra River has made its gorges one of the most famous stops for traditional tourism.
Night in a Riad in the Valley of the Roses
Before stopping our engines, we will move to Boumane to spend the night near the enchanting Valley of the Roses.rge.
The ocean will always be on our left. The tracks alternate between cliffs overlooking the sea and white dunes made of shells. In Agadir, we will leave the bikes at a hotel near the airport. Quick shower for everyone. Return flight tIn May, the valley takes on the scent of roses. Words cannot describe the beauty and colors of this plateau.
The stage is short enough to allow us a few hours to visit the Kasbah of Taourit (a UNESCO World Heritage Site).
Overnight at the hotel
Upon arrival at the hotel, we'll have time for a swim in the pool and perhaps a relaxing hammam. Bergamo scheduled for late evening. For those departing from Marrakech, a transfer is provided.
Before taking the recently renovated road to the Tika Pass, we'll visit the historic sites of Ouarzazate and the beautiful Kasbah of Ait Benaddu, a gem located on the old road to the pass.
To avoid the traffic on the new road, we'll take an interesting detour along the old salt caravan routes that lead to Ait Ourire, a town much older than Marrakech, a city of trade and barter.
We'll enter Marrakech from the south.
We'll spend the night in a Riad.
After returning our motorbikes, we'll have the whole evening to ourselves in the wonderful Jemaa El Fna Square.
Free departure time.
